Hi everybody... ok, so I haven't caught up (it just doesn't work with a blog), but I want to do it (so I'll do it extra-short in one post - here and now) and I haven't told good things... yeah, not really... ok, let's go:

  • 'troller en allemagne' feat. tomb, loick, r1 and posse
  • weekend in Berlin with my Püppi - experiencing:
    • a mars-flight simulation
    • IMAX 3D
    • Sin City (the movie ;) )
    • a Singaporian restaurant
    • much more fun
  • having passed my Controlling-test (only learned some days and only went to one of two needed tests ;) )
  • got the financing for the rest of my studies cleared
  • Püppi is finished with her studies
  • updated our DSL to 6000/512 kBit/s (and paying less :D )
  • cleaned my room up today
  • got a second chance for another university-test (they first called me to say, that I can't attend it - now they called again: I may and I get another extra-appointment)

Later people... ;)

Well, that was some long day - really. Not only because of daylight-saving time, but also because of it taking longer, than expected. At around 5 o'clock on halloween it was released - scheduled was 0000 cet.

Well, except for that HTML-parsing-bug, that was coded in in the last second, everything went well nevertheless. I'm still sorry for not waiting one day more and rolling back that change - but well.. can't change it no more. Basically this is an exchange of one bug for the other. And it's arguable which one will show more often - though I guess, it's the one I brought in. :-/

Apart from that flaw, I guess, I did a good Release Manager job. And I'm glad, that I was asked to do it!

Thanks to the Tiki-community for trusting me with that!

Tomorrow I'll go on with catching up with the happenings in Paris.. :)

Yes, call that day just how you want.. ;)

On that day I was flying to Paris to visit mose. The night before I already thought, that I can live with that missed test. Everything felt ok again - but then on the train I got pretty depressed.. shit
.. well, on the plane then some crazy couple (she always laughing in a way, that made my brain hurt and he joking in a way, that my brain... errrr...) poked me with questions. Being completely exhausted anyways, I slept all the time and that wasn't comfortable either.
Well, then hanging around at mose's place in the evening was really nice. Made me feel better a lot. Just I wasn't too talkative.. :-/
.. and that (not really usual) trait of mine stuck to me for all the Paris visit.. :(

My last test in the last semester was a disaster!
Why?
Because I wasn't there!
Yes!
Right!
Aaaargh!

I wrote the date down in my calendar two months before the test - to be sure, that I won't forget it! I learned about five days for it and the evening before the test I went to the webpage of the university to check again for the room in which it was supposed to be held. Ah, ok, there!
Me being paranoid about such things, I went about two hours later again checking for the room "to be really, absolutely sure" and in the moment I wanted to close the browser-tab, I noticed.... the test was today! :(

...yes, I know!

And I had a lot to tell. Actually I wanted to sum the stuff up a little bit here since a month or so also.

But for now you have a sign of life from me and I try to get my ass up again.

Note to self: install some Desktop-blogging application.. ;)
