Yeah, this actually happened two days ago...

I lost /root and /usr. Luckily and just by accident I had a backup of /usr, but not /usr/lib (living on another disk). I can use my machine, the libs seem to be still good enough for KDE, but e.g. my gcc fails miserably. So I'll have to bootstrap my system from scratch... :(

Well, at least I can work currently, the bootstrapping will have to wait until next week, too much to do this week and I'll make a complete cleanup-action out of this. I already reorganized the mounting of the harddisks in the case and the next step will be cleaning the bits and bytes. I have a couple of dozen gigs trash lying around...

Bergie blogged that yesterday and Midgard is evaluated there, too.

Ok, so from now on I'll tag everything concerning Bayreuth with BT (which is their car code plate). And I guess, that everything LivingLogic will beome 'll', but we'll see about that still... (/me still sincerely hopes to get tagging right in Tiki, so he might give others the right to tag stuff).

Matthias was here today and we talked about my (our) move to Bayreuth and it goes very well so far. We can even use my biiiig closet in the hall of our new flat. So now my biggest concern won't be to talk my next tenant into taking all that old stuff of me, but to make him not want it. ;)

And Yvonne was here today, she was visiting her parents and before leaving came here for some hours. Only some hours, but it was great! :)

So, if I now only get the last stuff of my studies done for what I need to be in Ilmenau - then everything's 'aligned' all right! :D

Yeah, on wednsday I had a quick chat on #microformats with amanuel, the social ambassador of otavo. I have tested it some months ago already and public beta seems to be near now. Very nicely AJAXified interface, clean and good looking. If you're interested in social bookmarking then I suggest you to check it out. "Get questing" - interesting suggestion! :)
